Hubert & Smile

Hubert Orlowski presents his new Trio Project: Smile. Hubert's approach to the keyboard is steeped in influences from across the world including Tania Maria, Iiro Rantala, Big Yuki, Tigran Hamasyan and Hiromi Uehara. Backed by Donald Waugh and Miguel Thompson, Smile combines acoustic electromech keyboards and synthesizers into a modern fusion of melody and rhythm.

This London-based 6-piece group carries on the tradition of bebop, cool, and hard-bop jazz with a focus on improvisation and creativity. With an ear to the past and an eye on the future, the Seth McNall Sextet takes audiences on a journey to what “jazz” means today.

Laurraine Sigouin

London vocalist Laurraine Sigouin and Enchanté have been serving up an upbeat bilingual mix of jazz, latin, zydeco, traditional French Canadian and contemporary pop music to London area audiences since 2004. Their motto is “Laissez les bons temps rouler!” which is French for “Let the good times roll!”

The Nine returns to Toboggan with their popular Christmas show, with guest vocalist Hilary Welch! The Nine is a London jazz group that plays in the style of Rob McConnell's Tentet. Enjoy great writing by Josh Hung and Scott Edwards plus amazing solos by some of the best improvisers in London!
